A 26-year old Syrian man was arraigned in the Gozo Court on Tuesday morning accused of injuring 3 others during a fight which took place in Marsalforn on Sunday.

The man pleaded not guilty to all charges, which also included disturbing the peace and reckless driving.

Magistrate Bridgette Sultana granted the accused bail against a number of conditions.

The argument broke out in Triq il-Port at around 7.30am on Sunday morning between a 25-year old Polish woman, a 29-year-old Polish man and two Syrian men aged 23 and 26.

The 23-year old Syrian suffered grievous injuries, while the other 3 persons involved sustained slight injuries.
