A 31-year old motorcyclist from Qala was grievously injured when he was involved in an accident on Sunday night in Zebbug, Gozo.

Police said that the accident happened at around 10.45pm, in Triq ir-Rabat

The man was riding a Kymco MXU which was involved in a collision with a Toyota Yaris driven by a 21-year old woman from Xaghra.

The motorcyclist was treated by a medical team at the scene before before being taken to the Gozo General Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
