Nine new flu cases in Gozo, including a six-year-old girl

How to reduce your chances of catching or spreading the swine flu virusSeven females, including a six-year-old girl and a 79-year-old woman, and two men, have been confirmed to have contracted the H1N1 flu virus today, all are from Gozo.

The number of people who have recovered from the virus now stands at 14 while the number of confirmed cases now stands at 69, 44 of which are from Gozo.

The Health Department added that no patients are currently hospitalised and all diagnosed cases are doing well.

Anyone who is currently feeling any of the symptoms is urged not to go to hospital emergency departments or clinics, instead they should stay at home and contact a doctor, or contact the swine flu helpline on 21324086.
