On the occasion of the International Youth Day, which this year has the theme “Intergenerational Solidarity,” an agreement was signed between Agenzija Zghazagh and the Relationships Are Forever Foundation to develop “Our Journey Cards.”

Their goal is to continue assisting young people to live a happier life and be able to reflect, make good choices, and emphasise their values and principles together with adults.

This collaboration will also give importance to the human resources that are so crucial in the development of young people, among them, youth workers. Therefore this agreement also includes funding that supports adults working with young people, the government said.

The International Youth Day was established by the United Nations with the aim that young people have access to more opportunities to strengthen their skills while their rights are protected. This year the chosen theme emphasises dignity for all ages.

The Ministry for Education said that “with this partnership today will continue to strengthen the implementation of the National Youth Policy which has the strategic objective of facilitating the transitions of young people in the process of adult life.”
