Transport Malta is launching a Grant Scheme targeted for private enterprises. Through this initiative, The Authority said that businesses are encouraged to develop a Green Travel Plan and implement the measures proposed in these plans.

A 2-year action plan with consideration for a minimum of two different alternative modes of mobility in the first year and an additional mode of mobility for the following year is required, TM said.

The grant will be in the form of a reimbursed contribution and will be split in three categories – €24,000 for large enterprises, €15,000 for medium enterprises and €10,000 for small and micro enterprises.

Applications are to be submitted to sustainablemobility.tm@transport.gov.mt by not later than the 15th of October 2022.
