The 15th edition of the Qala International Folk Festival opens next weekend in the heart of this beautiful village.

The Festival is organised by the Qala Local Council and the Qala Menhir Folk Group, in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo.

A firm favourite on the Gozo cultural calendar, the Festival takes place over three days, between Friday, the 16th and Sunday, the 18th of September, when the village square of Qala, will be transformed into a hub of folk activities that give visitors an insight into the island’s cultural history, with music, dance, traditional food and colourful costumes.

The Festival’s intercultural programme has grown to attract locals and visitors alike who enjoy this different and enjoyable spectacle.
