There were 28 new Covid-19 cases recorded on the Public Health Response Team official open source database in the last 24-hours.

There were no new deaths registered. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is 806.

Active cases in Malta and Gozo are now at 280. This brings the number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start of the pandemic to 114,805.

According to Health Minister Chris Fearne on Thursday, there are 4 Covid positive patients currently in hospital, with none in ITU.

There were 545 tests taken over the last 24 hours making a positivity rate of 5.14%.

The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
