Malta Police Force marks 195th anniversary in Gozo

The Malta Police Force has held a number of activities in Gozo to mark the 195th anniversary of its foundation.
The Precision Drill Team under the supervision of Inspector Stephen Mallia and the Police Band under the direction of Inspector, Mro. Anthony Cassar performed at Il-Menqa in Marsalforn.
A Mass was celebrated by Mgr. Emanuel Curmi at Santa Marija cemetery chapel, followed by the blessing of police graves and laying of flowers by the Police Deputy Commissioner Joseph Cachia, Neville Aquilina Assistant Commissioner, Mario Galea, Superintendent for Gozo, Wigi Dimech Police Pensioners Gozo Representative, amongst others.
The Victoria police station was also opened to the public for the day.
