Blood donation on Tuesday at the Xewkija ClinicThe National Blood Transfusion Service has expressed its thanks to the 43 people who called to donate blood last Sunday at the Xewkija Clinic in Gozo.

Meanwhile, the Service is encouraging more Gozitans to please go along and donate blood, as an early Christmas gift and help to the many people currently hospitalised in Gozo and Malta.

The next session will be on Tuesday, the 29th of November, from 1pm to 5pm at the Xewkija Clinic. This will be followed by another session on Sunday, the 4th of December, from 8am to 1pm.

“As always, your cooperation and generosity are greatly appreciated and please encourage others to donate if possible,” the Service said.

The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service

The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
