In a New Year’s message from President George Vella, he said, “on my behalf, on behalf of Miriam and our family, and on behalf of all the staff of the Office of the President, I wish you a New Year full of happiness, peace and above all health.”

The President, in a Facebook post, went on to say, “I wish the year 2023 to be one where we all give more help to each other, to our families, at the workplace, in schools, to the elderly and to those in need. I wish that we take care of all the good things we have and improve them.”
