A 28-year-old man from Mellieha has been remanded in custody after being accused of threatening four officers, resisting arrest, disobeying their orders and injuring two of them during an incident in Gozo last Saturday.

The man appeared before Magistrate Simone Grech in the Gozo Court. He was also accused with charges related to domestic violence, theft of money, breaching court conditions and recidivism.

The man pleaded not guilty to the charges.
