Restoration work is ongoing on Ghajn Tuta in Kercem thanks to funds from EcoGozo within the Cultural Heritage Directorate, Ministry for Gozo, the Kercem Local Council said.

Ghajn Tuta is a source of running water, a source of water for a number of farmers locally, and one of the few remaining like it in Gozo. It is also a Planning Authority scheduled site.

“The restoration work is being carried out by professional people in order to restore Ghajn Tuta back to its pristine origin,” the Council said.
