A wall next to the entrance to the Cittadella ditch in Victoria, Gozo, has collapsed, the Cultural Heritage Directorate, within the Ministry for Gozo has said.
The ditch is now closed to the public until it is ensured that there is no danger to the public.
It warned that some of the masonry walls at the perimeter of the ruins have also collapsed and therefore the Directorate is asking the public to be vigilant.
