Enemalta has advised that a fault has developed on the Malta-Sicily interconnector, causing power cuts across several localities around Gozo and Malta.
“Technical teams are doing their utmost to restore electricity supply as quickly as is technically possible. Supply has already been restored in a number of the affected areas,” the company said.
