During the Carnival period 60,337 people crossed over between Malta and Gozo. There were a total of 355 trips made by Gozo Channel, said Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri.

The Minister went on to add that “with the joint work between the Ministry for Gozo and the Local Councils that organised the carnival in their villages, Carnival in Gozo has returned bigger than ever this year.”

Minister Camilleri expressed his thanks to everyone who had contributed towards attracting the many visitors to Gozo.
