The Gozo Regional Development Authority, in collaboration with SMILO – Small Islands Organisation, have this week held a three-day conference on ‘Circular Economy on Small EU Islands’ funded through Erasmus+

Local stakeholders had the opportunity to share their insight with participants coming from the Mediterranean islands of Frioul in France, Pakleni in Croatia, and Sifnos in Greece.

The conference focused on water conservation, including the use of second-class water for irrigation, renewable energy in small islands, tourism and agriculture.
