Next Saturday, the 22nd of August 2009, will be a historic today for Xewkija Tigers Football Club, which apart from celebrating its 70th Birthday, it will also be witnessing the opening of the new Club House which was bought exactly one year ago, and after some refurbishment works it is finally ready and completely functional.
The ceremony will start at 6pm with local band Banda Prekursur playing a march from the Philarmonic Band Club House to the newly premises of the Tigers.
Then from 7pm, in the St. John the Baptist Square, the opening ceremony will be held with some distinguished members being invited together with current Committee, Coach and Payers.
Supporters are also invited to participate in this historic event for the Tigers.
