The Commissioner for Health in the Office of the Ombudsman has commended the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses (MUMN) for its decision to suspend directives from tomorrow.

In a statement, the Commissioner for Health said that “while reiterating the importance of placing patients’ needs first, the Commissioner augurs that the current dispute between Government and MUMN be positively resolved for the benefit of all parties involved.”
