For the month of May the theme of the National Blood Transfusion Service is to please – Renew somebody’s hope to live…..Give Blood!

The Service is once again urging Gozitans to show their solidarity and please support sick patients in the hospitals of Gozo and Malta by making a donation on one of the five dates that are shown below during May.

Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club:

Sundays – last registration 1:00pm

7th May from 8:00am-1:00pm

21st May from 8:00am-1:00pm

Tuesdays – last registration 5:00pm

2nd May 1:00pm to 5:00pm

16th May 1:00pm to 5:00pm

30th May 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service to avoid wasting time

The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
