This Sunday, a candle installation will be taking place outside every Gozitan locality’s parish church on all parapets or in squares, in honour of their Patron Saints. It had been due to take place on the 1st of November, All Saints’ Day, but had to be postponed due to bad weather.

The public is invited to visit the Parishes, from 6pm onwards on Sunday, the 8th of November, to witness this event which will unite Gozo as one island on both a cultural and religious background – Mixehla tal Qaddisin.

As darkness falls, the warm glow of countless lights creates a truly magical atmosphere, inviting visitors to reflect on the lives and virtues of the Saints while appreciating the beauty of faith, culture, and community.

Accompanied by sacred music, moments of contemplation, and a spirit of togetherness, Il-Mixeghla tal-Qaddisin offers an unforgettable experience for families, pilgrims, and visitors alike.
