 Gozo continues to see fall in final deeds of sale and promise of sale agreementsIn relation to final deeds of sale on residential property in April, the Gozo and Comino District registered 111, this was down 38 on March and 79 on April 2022, as well as being lowest out of all the districts.

The data released today by the National Statistics Office show that in the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, there were 71 final deeds of sale, up by 2 on March, but down 15 on April last year.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija there were 40, this was exactly half of the figure in March when it was 80 and down by 64 on April 2022.

The NSO noted that the second lowest figures nationally of promise of sale agreements were noted in the Gozo and Comino District, with 118 agreements, down from 140 agreements in the same month last year and down from 143 in March.

In the cluster of localities made up of Fontana, Gharb, Ghasri, Kercem, Munxar, Victoria, San Lawrenz, Sannat and Zebbug, the promise of sale agreements totalled 67 in April, up 10 from March and down 4 from April 2022.

While in the cluster of localities of Ghajnsielem and Comino, Nadur, Qala, Xaghra and Xewkija, the figure was 51, down 15 from March, and down 18 on April 2022.
