On Saturday evening during a special event, the committee of St Lawrence Spurs F.C. launched a book to commemorate the 50th anniversary since its establishment by Jose Bajada.

During the event, the modernisation project of the club’s new ‘Sixty8 Bistro and Pizzeria’ was also inaugurated.

Present for the evening was Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri who, during his address, wished the “hardworking committee” of St Lawrence Spurs every success.

Also present for the evening, were among others, the Mayor of San Lawrenz Noel Formosa and President of the Gozo Football Association Dr Samuel Azzopardi.
