A new Lifeguard Tower is to be put into use at the very popular Marsalforn beach this summer.

Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri said, “we are doing this so that apart from offering a more suitable place for the lifeguards who are carrying out invaluable work, we are also ensuring better facilities for those who may need assistance of some kind.”

He added that, “this is just part of the much wider work that the Ministry for Gozo is carrying out to ensure that Gozo is prepared for the summer season, which is a very busy one.
