The funeral of Monsignor Paul Cardona (1953-2023), Episcopal Vicar for the Clergy, has been announced by the Diocese of Gozo.

Mgr Paul Cardona passed away on Wednesday morning and his funeral will be held next Tuesday, the 27th of June, in the Church of Santa Margerita, Sannat.

At 4.45pm the Vespers prayer will be celebrated, followed at 5.00pm with the ‘præsente cadavere’ Mass led by the Bishop of Gozo Anton Teuma.

A private burial service will then take place in the Chapel of the Cemetery of Santa Margerita.

“Give him, O Lord, eternal rest.”
