The Ghajnsielem Local Council was runner-up at the ‘National Enterprise Support Awards (NESA) 2023’ organised by the Ministry for the Economy and Department of Commerce.

Ghajnsielem Mayor Kevin Cauchi, on behalf of the Local Council was presented with €8,000 in recognition for the successful activities and initiatives undertaken by the Council to assist local enterprise and entrepreneurship.

The Mayor reiterated the Council’s commitment to make Ghajnsielem a Christmas Destination, ‘Iljieli Sajfin’ Summer Nights events, Halloween, St Patrick’s, Pjazza Pedonali and much more.”

“The award is certainly a great honour which will motivate us to invest more projects and events in our locality,” he added.
