Included in the series of “special” events towards its silver jubilee, the Gozo Philatelic Society now has a range of social philately items connected with the Napoleonic period in Malta.

These include documentary originals and reproductions, as well as exclusive commemorative covers.

Il-Hagar is open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm, without any entrance fee.

At the moment it has on display a large number of oil paintings to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Francesco Zahra’s demise.
