The Met Office has issued another red – Take Action – warning, the second one this week, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 41°C on Thursday.

In fact, the Malta Met Office are forecasting highs of 41°C until at least next Wednesday, the only exception is Tuesday, when it is forecast to reach 42°C

Last week the Health Department issued a warning to the public on the expected high temperatures with advice on measures to take to help minimise the impact of this hot weather.

We at Gozo News also issued information on help for pets, other animals and birds, who desperately need everyones help to survive through this period of hot weather.
