The Nadur Local Council, have as promised, given the San Blas Playing Field a new, modern, safer and up-to-date look.

Work started earlier this month to dismantle all the old equipment and matting.

All the equipment, which was first installed in 2003, has been replaced with new games that include slides, swings, merry-go-round, rocking animals, benches and even new bins.

The Nadur Local Council carried out this project with a value of around €25,000 through funds from a Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government and Department of Local Government scheme.

“There is continuous investment when it comes to public spaces and playing fields in Nadur,” the Council said.
