A third set of wool blankets (sixteen in total) which were handmade by the Munxar community in Gozo for the benefit of NGOs, have this time been donated to Smiling with Jerome.

The mission of Smiling with Jerome is to provide support, assistance and compassion to those going through the hardest times.

Smiling With Jerome was founded in October 2017, after Kenneth and Josette Frendo lost their 20-year old son, Jerome, to bone cancer. Kenneth and Josette vowed to make a difference, by helping all those who were suffering just like their son had.

Smiling With Jerome is helping many families with funds, initiatives, and general support they may need to help a loved one who is currently sick or suffering from a disability.

The HSBC Malta Foundation said that it is supporting the Munxar community to produce more of these blankets to be donated to a number of NGO’s in the coming months.

In May, the Munxar community donated blankets to Hospice Malta.
