The Sempre Vivo concert – second edition, held in Xaghra Square raised €20,800 in aid of Puttinu Cares.
The concert, organised by Il-Karus l-Ahmar, was held in memory of a young person who died of cancer and with the aim of raising money for Puttinu to continue helping those who may need the services they provide.
Different genres of music was played including rock, pop, Gregorian and even music of praise to God.
There was a live orchestra and band accompanied by different singers, as well as a children’s choir for the first time.
Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri congratulated the organisers of the concert, and welcomed the generosity of the Gozitan and Maltese people in their donations.
