Triq ir-Ramla – the old Ramla Road in Nadur – is to have a new belvedere which is due to be completed in the coming months.
Nadur Local Council said that this new belvedere will provide spectacular views across the Bingemma Valley. The work includes new paving, picnic tables and seating, low lighting, and a new wrought iron railing. The existing trees are due to remain in situ.
The area is currently in a run-down state, and the Local Council said it has acquired funds from the Planning Authority through the Development Planning Fund (DPF) in order to give it a total upgrade.
This project will also complement the work on a new road in the area, it said.
The Nadur Local Council said that this is “another investment for Nadur, for our families and children.”
