The Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA), has advised of the product recall that the importer and distributor has made regarding ‘Rexoguard’ antibacterial and household disinfectant in all formats of 250ml, 500ml, 750ml and 2 Litres.

It explained that Chlorophene, one of the active substances contained in Rexoguard is not approved for use in disinfectants of surfaces, material, equipment and furniture with effect from 16th December 2020.

Consumers who have purchased this product are being requested not to use it.
