Alda Bugeja of Gozo Weaving, was the only Gozitan artisan selected to participate in the International Fair of Traditional Crafts held earlier this month at the ETAR Museum in Bulgaria.

A wall-hanger created by her during the fair was also requested by the ETAR Museum to become part of their collection of artisanal exhibits.

The Gozo Business Chamber extended its congratulations to council member Alda Bugeja on her achievement.

Alda has a shop in Palm Street, Victoria – Gozo Weaving and Creations – where visitors are always welcome to browse through her items for sale and watch her at work on the loom. Alda also holds children’s events where they can help create different pieces.
