The 202nd anniversary of Police Day is being commemorated in Gozo this coming Wednesday, the 13th of July, with a special programme of events.

Starting early evening, a Mass will e celebrated at the Santa Marija cemetery chapel, followed by the blessing of Police graves and laying of flowers.

The activities then move to Marsalforn, where at 7.30pm, a march by the Malta Police Band led by Maestro Superintendent Anthony Cassa will take place, starting at Mikelang Refalo Street, followed by a Police Band Concert and displays by the Precision Drill Team, as well as the Police Dogs Section at Il-Menqa.

Other events for the public to enjoy include two police horses and a traffic police motor bike.
