A time-limited offer which enables students to apply for a Student Tallinja Card without incurring the usual €15 application fee, has been announced by Malta Public Transport.

The promotional period is set to run from September the 18th to the 30th of November, and is open to all full-time students enrolled in courses in Malta or Gozo.

To avail themselves, students need to submit their applications via the Malta Public Transport website during the promotion period. It’s important to note that while the application fee is waived, there is a nominal €2.87 postage fee that students must cover.

MPT advised that students aged 16 and over are required to provide proof of student status.

Through the Student Tallinja Card students can also enjoy discounted rates on various other mobility services, including direct routes, on-demand services, Valletta Ferry Services, and Tallinja Bike rentals.
