On Wednesday morning, the Bishop of Gozo Mgr Anton Teuma had a cordial meeting in the Curia with the members of the National Council for the Elderly (KNA) led by the President Dr Peter Bonnici.
The subjects discussed included among others, problems encountered by the elderly, the need for more day shelters, the active role that the elderly have left in society, the challenges in raising grandchildren, the communication with the young generation, and then the transmission of values.
The KNA was founded in 1992 and brings together those Associations / Organisations that give some form of service to the Elderly.
