A 31-year old man has sustained grievous injures while working on a construction site in Xaghra on Thursday.
Police said that the accident happened around midday at a site in Triq Bentrija. The man, who is from Xewkija, was using a wall chaser when the accident happened.
He was taken to the Gozo General hospital for treatment.
Police investigations are ongoing.
