Gozo will be celebrating the national holiday of Republic Day with a concert taking place on Saturday.

President George Vella, will preside over an open-air concert in Independence Square, Victoria, to mark this year’s 49th Republic Day.

This year, Colin Attard directs the Leone Band in a selection of popular symphonic pieces, including two rarely performed local compositions.

The concert is on Saturday, the 16th of December, starting at 7pm. Entrance is free.

No reservations are required. Seating will be provided under the large marquee set up for the occasion.
