The 2023 edition of L-Istrina gets underway today from midday at the Sports Complex in Marsa and in Independence Square, Victoria, Gozo.

Boxing Day is now synonymous with this annual charity fundraising 12-hour telethon, which last year raised €5,062,415.

Join with everyone in Victoria this afternoon, for some festive cheer, goodwill, and heartwarming moments and don’t miss out on the joy of contributing towards a great cause.

The event is held to raise money in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund, to be used for those who are less fortunate.

The 12-hour fundraiser, which will be the last for the Presidency of Dr George Vella, will be broadcast on all national television stations.
