The Michele Chiarlo Tribute Dinner – is an exclusive event to be hosted at Vini e Capricci in Gozo and seeks to honour the late Michele Chiarlo, an iconic figure in the world of wine, while contributing to a noble cause.

All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to supporting the Guatemalta Foundation.

Michele Chiarlo, a luminary in viticulture, left an indelible mark on the wine industry. In recognition of his legacy, this tribute dinner “promises an unforgettable experience, featuring a meticulously crafted six-course paired dinner,” Vini e Capricci said.

All proceeds from the event will be dedicated to supporting the Guatemalta Foundation, a charitable organisation committed to provide philanthropic and financial aid to the catholic mission run by Rev Fr Anton Grech in Guatemala through fund-generating events, projects and charitable work.

Fr. Anton Grech was born in Victoria, Gozo, in 1972. He was ordained a priest in 1997 and sent as a ‘fidei donum’ missionary to Guatemala.

One of the objectives of the Foundation is to promote social justice and community advancement by offering solidarity and sustainable projects to the poorest in Guatemala, with the aim of relieving poverty and suffering, among many others.

To assist in the organisation of Maltese groups visiting Rev Fr Anton Grech’s Parish in Guatemala to do voluntary work, by providing the necessary information and any resources needed.
