A 22-year-old motorcyclist was involved in an an accident near Kercem this afternoon. The man was said to have be critically injured when he came off his motorbike near l-Ghadira ta’Raflu.
He was rushed to Gozo General Hospital, but had to be transferred by helicopter to Mater Dei Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Police investigations are continuing into the cause of the accident.
