MaltaPost p.l.c. notifies the public that a Temporary Branch Post Office will be set up at the Green Lounge at the Hotel Phoenicia, Floriana between Friday, the 9th and Sunday, the 11th of October, during the opening hours of the Maltex Philatelic Exhibition organised by the Malta Philatelic Society.

The Temporary Branch will be open between 9.00am and 6.00pm on Friday and Saturday, and between 9.00am and 12.00pm on Sunday.

Services available from this Temporary Branch will include sale of stamps, Philatelic products and other postal services.

For this special event MaltaPost will be issuing an Occasion Card and a Postal Card. The cards will be available for sale in mint and cancelled during the Maltex Philatelic Exhibition. The Cards and all mail posted at this Temporary Branch will also be cancelled with the Maltex special handstamp inscribed MALTEX 2009, 9 – 11 October – Hotel Phoenicia – Floriana, Malta. The special handstamp will carry the Logo of the Exhibition.
