A 23-year old Polish man sustained grievous injuries falling down a shaft at a residence in Pjazza San Girgor, Kercem.
Police said that the accident was reported by the Gozo General Hospital at around 5.30am on Monday morning,
The man was provided with first assistance at the scene before being taken to the Gozo General Hospital
Police investigations are ongoing.
