The Notarial Council has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Notary Myriam Spiteri Debono who has just been sworn in as the 11th President of Malta.

The Council said in a statement that it takes “immense pride in witnessing one of its own reach the highest office in the country.”

“We are confident Dr Myriam Spiteri Debono will bring her wealth of experience, commitment to justice and fairness, and dedication to public service to her new role,” the Council said.

The Notarial Council also pledged its support to President Spiteri Debono “as she embarks on this journey to serve the people of Malta.”

It concluded by extending “best wishes to the new President for a successful tenure.”
