National Statistics Office latest data show that registered full-time employment totalled 282,646 in November 2023, an increase of 7.7% over November 2022.

The NSO noted that part-time as a primary job amounted to 33,959, this was an increase of 4.0% when compared to the same period in 2022.

Private sector full-time employment went up by 9.3% over a period of one year reaching 230,847.

Public sector full-time employment increased by 0.8% since November 2022 totalling 51,799, the NSO said.

As compared to November 2022, the NSO noted that full-time employment for males went up by 7.9% amounting to 171,942, while that for females increased by 7.3% reaching 110,704.
