Gozo is commemorating World Book Day and during an activity at the Central Library in Victoria a new initiative was launched by Gozo and Planning Minister Clint Camilleri – A Tour with Kylie in Gozitan libraries.
Kylie is a gold coloured car that pulls behind it a trailer full of books suitable for children aged from a just a few months up to 7-years old. It will be spending a month in all of the 11 Gozitan libraries.
The Minister said that through the EkoGozo Directorate the Ministry gave a grant of €3,000 to purchase about a thousand books that will be distributed in the libraries across Gozo.
