Europe Day 2024 will be celebrated in Gozo later this month, with a Europe Direct Gozo event at the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria.
During this event, various EU information providers will be present at the fair, to provide any sort of information about the European Union and what is the remit of each and every organisation within the Union.
On the 1st of May 2004, Malta became a full member of the European Union. Malta’s accession to the EU led to fundamental political, economic and social developments.
Since Malta is a member of the EU it can voice its opinions on the political issues facing Europe and the world.
Malta is at par with the other 27 Member States, with its six elected representatives which have helped shape the EU agenda on various issues that concern the Maltese citizens.
Europe Day 2024 in Gozo is being celebrated on Saturday, the 11th of May, between 10am and 6pm. Everyone is encouraged to go along and enjoy the atmosphere.
