A delegation of 27 people from Tolfa, Italy, last week paid a five day visit to Ghajnsielem. The group was led by Tolfa Mayor, Alessandro Battilocchio and also included members from the Tolfa Fold Group and the ‘Gruppo Comunale Voluntri di Protezione Civile di Tolfa’ which is a civil protection volunteer group.

During their week’s stay in Gozo the delegation visited the major attractions in Victoria and took a tour around the island. Friday evening was spent enjoying Malta and on Saturday, the choir participated in ‘Eku mill-Munxar…. dari u llum’ by joining their Italian counterparts.

The Ghajnsielem Local Council also hosted a dinner in their honour on Sunday evening which was also attended by Parliamentary Secretary Dr Chris Said.
