The Police have said that the 63 year-old man who was seriously injured after falling down the stairs of his residence in Kercem on Tuesday evening, has died in hospital
The accident happened at around 7.30pm in Triq il-Gamiem.
Duty Magistrate Simone Grech appointed an inquiry, while police investigations are ongoing.
