The Zebbug Belvedere beautification project and the project to replace railings and lights in Triq Santa Marija, Marsalforn, have been inaugurated by Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri together with the Mayor of Zebbug Marlene Cini, the councillors, and the President of the Gozo Region Dr Samuel Azzopardi.
Both projects saw a total investment of approximately €280,000 financed by the Development Planning Fund of the Planning Authority.????
The belvedere beautification project consisted of construction, fencing, placing of concrete, covering, landscaping work and greening of the area, at a cost of around €125,000.
The railings and the lighting were also changed through a project which cost around €155,000, which became necessary because the area is exposed to the elements of the sea.
“The belvedere offers panoramic views as well as a resting place in an urban area. Therefore it is important that this place is kept in a good state so that the residents can enjoy it as well as many people who visit this locality especially in the summer months,” stated Minister Clint Camilleri.

Always stupid ideas – nothing important Mr. Camilleri!!!
Yes, and the they could plantsome LEGAL buoys, ask some fees from the boaters. This would create 1 or 2 Jobs, and the boaters would frequent the restaurants. This is normal in other countries.
